- Aft Bearing Engineering Data Aft Bearing Drawing 1 This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format prescribed in Subpart 12.6 of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is N40442-11-T-7276, and it is being issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-48, effective 30 DEC 2010. NAICS code 333613 applies. This is a small business set-aside. Military Sealift Fleet Support Command (MSFSC), Norfolk, VA intends to award a firm fixed price purchase order for USNS Zeus for the following parts and service: The requested period of performance for the above service is 31 January 2011 - 14 March 2011. A. STATEMENT OF WORK 1. Re-babbitt Waukesha Bearing 16" dia x 16" long journal bearing and renew embedded RTD's(total of 2, primary and back-up). The specs and dwgs are attached. 2. RTD's are manufactured by Minco Products; S325 Series, Platinum Element Material, 3-lead model, braided stainless steel shield over Teflon insulated leads, desired wire length is 24". The part for the RTD's is S325P3S24. 3. All the repairs to be witnessed by American Bureau of Shipping (ABS). Contractor to provide ABS repair survey report. B. ACCEPTANCE OF WORK: Chief Engineer and/or Port Engineer to accept completion of work. C. AVAILABILITY Start: -- Jan 31, 2011 Complete: -- March 14, 2011 D.
