- Description
- The purpose of this modification/amendment is to clarify specific details to which the offeror must recognize in the submittal of an RFP. After looking over the solicitation the government has decided to include these changes pursuant to FAR Part 13. The government is in return asking for any offerors to read over this solicitation in its entirety in order to re-submit a proposal. All RFPs need to be sent to James Findlay by email only (James.Findlay@Navy.mil) before the specified time and date. Any questions regarding this amendment should be submitted to James Findlay. Evaluation Criteria: This combined synopsis/solicitation and any resultant contract award are issued pursuant to FAR Part 13- "Simplified Acquisition Procedures" and FAR 13.106-2 "Evaluation of Quotations or Offerors" applies to the evaluation criteria specified herein. The Government intends to award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible company whose offer conforming to the solicitation is determined most advantageous to the Government, price and non-price factors considered. The following factors will be considered: (1) Technical approach and capability (2) Past Performance (3) Price/Cost Period of Performance: As noted above the following requirement is temporary. Hence, the period of performance will consist of a base period of 1 April 2011 through 1 October 2011 and will include five (5) option periods for two (2) months each. Please note that the period of performance could shift depending on the successful offeror's installation date, and therefore would begin immediately after a successful installation. Technical Approach and Capability: Interested parties shall provide information and data necessary for the Government to evaluate its understanding of the tasking requirements and its approach to successfully accomplish work objectives as outlined the in Performance Work Statement. This submission shall be submitted electronically in Microsoft Word 2003 format. Price: Identify the proposed prices for each contract line item by completing and submitting the schedule of supplies/services provided in this solicitation attachment. All prices shall be contained in a separate file.
