- AMENDMENT 01- Hereby issued to change deadline for receipt of responses from close of business PST Feb 2, 2011 to close of business PST Feb 9, 2011. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice and in accordance with the simplified acquisition procedures authorized in FAR Part 13. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The office of NOAA National Marine Fisheries Service (NMFS), FISH AND Ecology Division located in Seattle, WA intends to acquire 954 each Radio Telemetry Transmitters. The Radio Transmitters MUST meet the following specifications and requirements: • Frequency: 30 Mhz (30.170 thru 30.250) • Delivery of all transmitters- quantity of 154 each by March 07, 20011 and quantity of 800 each by 25 April 2011. • Weight max 0.8 grams dry weight. • Antenna length 12". • 3-coded pulse (NOAA Fisheries protocol). • 4-second ping rate • 30-day life span. • Programmed to activate for 1 hour on, then turn-off for 5 days, then turn on again for the remaining life span. • Verified read range of 1500 ft at a water depth of 6 ft. This must be verified by NOAA personnel. This procurement is 100% set aside for small business concerns under the North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) 334511 with a small business size standard of 750 employees. The instruments must be FOB destination Pasco, WA 99301 for delivery no later than the specified date on solicitation. All interested parties must respond to this announcement within fifteen (15) calendar days of its publication.
