- CURE/BLCA AmmunitionNational Park Service - Curecanti National Recreation Area, Gunnison, Colorado 81230 (A) GENERAL INFORMATION:This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for ammunition for the Law Enforcement Rangers at Curecanti National Recreation Area and Black Canyon of the Gunnison National Park. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are hereby being requested and a separate written solicitation will not be issued. (B) AWARD INFORMATIONThe National Park Service contemplates award of a firm fixed price contract, as a result of this combined synopsis/solicitation, to the vendor whose quotation provides the best value to the Government. The National Park Service intends to make award to the vendor who provides the lowest total quoted price, including any applicable freight. The government reserves the right to make multiple awards if it is found to be in the best interest of the government. Quotations are due by 3 February, 2011. (C) SMALL BUSINESS SET-ASIDEThe proposed contract is 100% set-aside for Small business concerns. All responsible small businesses may submit a quotation which shall be considered by the National Park Service (NPS). (D) SOLICITAION #: Q1379110015. This solicitation is issued as a Request for Quote. (E) NAICS code: 332992; Small business size standard: 1000 employees. (F) The following contract line items may be quoted per the brand specified or via the characteristics that an "equal" item must meet to be acceptable for award. Jacketed Hollow Point Bonded (4) 1500 rounds -.40 S&W, Ammunition Symbol SC40NT, 140 gr. Jacketed Flat Point Super Clean NT (5) 3000 rounds -.223 Cal.,Ammunition Symbol RA223R, 55 gr. Pointed Soft Point (6) 3000 rounds -.223 Cal.,Ammunition Symbol RA223SF, 55 gr. Sinterfire Frangible (7) 1000 rounds -.223 Cal.,Ammunition Symbol RA223BSTA, 55 gr. Supreme Ballistic Silvertip (8) 500 rounds - 12 gauge, Ammunition Symbol RA1200SF, 12 ga., 2-3/4", 00 Buck Frangible (9) Freight if applicable, shall be quoted FOB Destination. Note: Vendors shall submit a response/price for all line items as partial orders may be awarded. (H) EVALUATION CRITERIA:- Lowest Price Technically Acceptable- Delivery Schedule (I) QUOTATIONS: Vendors shall email their quotations to Debra O'Hagan at debra_ohagan@nps.gov. Quotes shall be submitted to insure receipt by 4:00 pm local time, Gunnison, Colorado, Thursday, 3 February, 2011. The anticipated award date is on or about Wednesday, 16 February, 2011. (K) DELIVERY SCHEDULE:Please provide the delivery schedule for each requested line item. (L) MEASUREMENT AND PAYMENTPayment will be made via Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) in accordance with the Prompt Payment Act, to the bank of record as recorded in the vendor's CCR registration. Any partial payments must be pre-approved by the Contracting Officer. (M) CCR REGISTRATIONAll vendors wishing to be considered for this solicitation must be successfully registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database by the date of proposal submission. Quotations received from vendors who have not successfully and completely registered in CCR by the proposal submission date will be considered as non-responsive and will be rejected. Registration in the CCR database may be completed via www.ccr.gov. CCR registration typically requires an average of five to seven business days for completion.
