- The ESTIMATED ISSUE DATE Electronically in Federal Business Opportunities is February 9, 2011 Estimated Response Date: March 1, 2011 Project summary: The objective of this project is to install underground electrical lines for the Waxmyrtle Campground that were apparently replaced in 1994. A West Bath Facility Megger Test was conducted in July 2009 to verify each conductor's electrical insulation resistantance where the megger test failed. Based on the results of the failed test the Forest Service decided to replace the entire electrical line for this Campgound. The Contractor shall furnish the necessary personnel, supplies, material, equipment, labor, services, transportation (except those items listed as Government-Furnished), to perform the Statement of Work/Specifications, which will be referenced in the solicitation. Project Location: Waxmyrtle Campground, Central Coast Ranger District, Siuslaw National Forest The estimated start work date is March 15, 2011. The Government intends to issue a Firm-Fixed-Price contract. The government estimate is between $25,000.00 and $100,000.00. The estimated performance time is 60 calendar days from the effective date of the Notice to Proceed. Note: prospective awardee shall be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) data base prior to award. Information on registration may be obtained via the internet at: http://www.ccr.gov or by calling 1-888-227-2423. All contractors and vendors must complete the electronic version of the Representations and Certifications in the ORCA system.
