- Description
- The Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) intends to award a sole source purchase order to the Professional Trailbuilders Association for the 2011 Trailbuilders Conference, to be held March 13-18, 2011, in Asheville, NC. FHWA desires to be a co-sponsor because its Recreational Trails Program is essential to enhance communication between FHWA, State, and local trail management agencies, trail contractors, and volunteers. The Professional Trailbuilders Association is considered the only source for this conference. All responsible sources may submit a response identifying their interest and capability to respond to this requirement. The proposed contract action is for services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. This is a Simplified Acquisition and the total estimated value is not to exceed $13,945.00; the anticipated award date is February 7, 2011.
