- Rock Island intends to solicit interested 8a contractors, for Army Sustainment Command (ASC) Information Technology Application Development and Maintenance. Contractor shall perform all efforts to analysis, estimate, design, program, test, field, maintain, upgrade, troubleshoot, and document web-based applications, Microsoft.net application technology and ASC internet and intranet web pages to include but not limited to MS Sharepoint 2007 and 2010 applications, workflows and team sites, desktop automation and client server (C/S) applications. Work requests will be issued to include modifications, enhancements and maintenance/sustainment of existing applications as well as new starts and initiatives. This notice is not a request for proposals but is being provided as notification of our intent to solicit via Army Single Face to Industry (AFSI) on or around 15 February 2011, therefore hardcopies will not be provided. The solicitation will be issued electronically as will any modifications. Because of this, the Government is under no obligation and is in fact unable to maintain a bidder's mailing list. It is therefore incumbent upon any interested parties to periodically access the ASFI in order to obtain any amendments which may be issued. Failure to obtain any said amendments and to respond to them prior to the date and time set for bid opening/receipt of proposals may render your bid or proposal nonresponsive and result in rejection of same.
