- Description
- The Social Security Administration (SSA) is seeking Medical Advisor (MA) services set up in Blanket Purchase Agreements (PBAs). The MA combines clinical medical knowledge with administrative, management, leadership and teaching skills to identify and assist in the resolution of issues or problems arising in the SSA disability program. There will be no contact with patients. The ordering period will be one year from the date of award, with provision for the inclusion of four one-year ordering periods. It is the intent of this office to issue RFQ SSA-RFQ-R03-11-1002 on February 8, 2011 for these services. This acquisition is being conducted in accordance with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items and FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures. It will be posted on this web site. All interested offerors should get a copy of the RFQ from this web site and if there are any questions, they should be directed to James McDermott at james.mcdermott@ssa.gov no later than 15 days after the RFQ is released. Requests for copies of the RFQ will not be honored or acknowledged.
