- This synopsis is being posted to the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) website located at http://www.fbo.gov, the Navy Electronic Commerce on Line (NECO) website located at https://www.neco.navy.mil/, and the Naval Surface Warfare Center, Crane Division, Acquisition website located at http://www.navsea.navy.mil/nswc/crane/working/contracting/default.aspx. FBO is the primary point of entry to be used when access to synopses and solicitations from the World Wide Web is required. However, the NECO webpage as well as the Naval Surface Warfare Center, Crane Division, Contracting webpage serve as alternatives if the FBO website is unavailable. Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWC) Crane Division plans to enter into a Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA) with Crane Electronics, Inc., 84 Hill Avenue NW, Fort Walton, FL 32548-3858. The establishment of a BOA is for the procurement of supplies/services required to support NSWC Crane in its new roles as the Repair Depot Activity, Logistics Management Information Activity, and Fleet Support Activity for a Gun Bay Power Supply, Weapon Replaceable Assembly 9. This requirement will be negotiated on a sole-source basis in accordance with the statutory authority 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1. The basis for the sole source is the requirement for the equipment to integrate with existing equipment already installed on the aircraft in terms of form, fit, function and compatibility. The Government does not possess rights to the technical data necessary to manufacture the required spares. No solicitation will be available at FedBizOpps and at NECO and no hard copies of the solicitation will be mailed. Responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation which shall be considered by the agency. Submitting a bid from the NECO website by clicking on Submit Bid does not guarantee offers will be received by the proper person in the correct format. It is the responsibility of the offeror to submit offers to the Point of Contact (POC) at NSWC Crane. The POC is Ms. Kathy Gaither, Code CXMN WJ at Tel: (812)854-8482 or email kathy.gaither@navy.mil. Reference the above solicitation number when responding to this notice. For changes made after the closing date, only those offerors that provide a proposal will be provided any changes/amendments and considered for future discussions and/or award.
