Description
Sources Sought Notice: The James E. VanZandt VA Medical Center has a potential requirement for the provision of home oxygen services to the veteran beneficiaries of the medical center. The medical center requires the services of a contractor who is able to deliver and perform the following: Rental of oxygen concentrators Rental of M or H cylinder as required by concentrators Size E, D, and B cylinders Portable liquid oxygen system with reservoir Liquid oxygen for liquid oxygen system Gaseous Pulse Dose Conserving System including carrying bag Liquid pulse dose conserving devise with conserver reservoir and carrying bag Electrical air compressor Nocturnal Sleep Oximetry Initial RCP visit to set-up VA Owned CPAP/BIPAP equipment and provide patient instruction Technical patient home visit to trouble shoot VA owned CPAP/BIPAP equipment The James E. Van Zandt VA Medical Center currently serves an estimated 300 oxygen using patients and 535 C-Pap/Bi-Pap patients. This volume is only an estimate and may be more or less throughout any potential contract period of performance. Any resultant contract will be for the actual requirements of VA as ordering by VA during the period of performance may fluctuate. Interested contractors who may be able to perform the services described above are requested to submit a Capability Statement to the Contracting Officer. Capability Statements should include the following information: Contractor's Business Size Contractor's Socio-Economic Category Ability to provide services in the following areas: Bedford, Blair, Cambria, Cameron, Centre, Clearfield, Clinton, Elk, Huntingdon, Indiana, Jefferson, Juniata, Mifflin, and Somerset.
