- UNITED STATES GOVERNMENT NOTICE OF INTENT TO USE OTHER THAN FULL AND OPEN COMPETITION FORT LAUDERDALE, FLORIDA REQUIREMENT: The U. S. Government currently occupies 8,633 USF of office and related space and utilizes five (5) structured parking spaces at South Trust Tower, One East Broward Boulevard, Fort Lauderdale, Florida under a lease that will expire February 28, 2011. GSA plans to negotiate a lease extension for a term of six (6) months unless there is an alternate location of equal size and quality, at an economic advantage to the Government, including all tenant improvement costs (estimated at $337,788.90). Alternate locations must also include all costs associated with the physical relocation costs as well as the cost to move data and telecommunications lines. LOCATION: Space must be located within a two block radius of the Federal Building, U. S. Courthouse, 299 East Broward Boulevard, Fort Lauderdale, Florida. REQUIRED: All services, supplies, utilities, partitioning and tenant alterations are to be provided as part of the rental consideration. TERM: The lease term will be six months (03/01/2011 to 08/31/2011). Occupancy is desired no later than March 1, 2011. OWNERS AND AGENTS: To submit a location for inspection, contact this office by February 1, 2011. Owners and Exclusive Agents only. Anyone else must provide a letter of authorization from the building owner.
