- Presolicitation Notice 1/25/2011 USCG 210 FOOT MEDIUM ENDURANCE CUTTERS (WMEC 615-630) HELO 400 HZ POWER SUPPLY CABLE INSTALLATIONS FOR DOCKSIDE REPAIRS This procurement is a 100% Total Business Set-Aside. All responsible Small Business Concerns may submit an offer, which shall be considered by the U.S. Coast Guard. The solicitation will be issued electronically on the FEDBIZOPPS web page on or about February 3, 2011, at http://www/eps/gov/. Please sign up for the Auto Notification Service to receive e-mail from FEDBIZOPPS when an action is taken under this solicitation. THIS COMMERCIAL ITEM REQUIREMENT IS SET-ASIDE FOR 100% TOTAL SMALL BUSINESS CONCERNS AND WILL BE EVALUATED USING PAST PERFORMANCE AS THE MOST IMPORTANT EVALUATION FACTOR. The Small Business Size Standard is 1,000 employees. The NAICS Code is 336611. The place of performance will be at the cutters locations listed below. The contract shall provide and furnish all labor, material and equipment necessary to perform the scope of the acquisition: (1) Furnish Helo 400 HZ Power Supply Cable and Installation, on fourteen (14) USCG 210 Foot Medium Endurance Cutters (WMEC 615-630). (2) Travel and Per Diem to install all fourteen (14) Helo 400 HZ Power Supply Cables onboard the cutters at the different cutter homeport locations per attached schedules (See attached list of locations and period of performance). All work will be performed at the vessels home pier. These vessels home piers are located: (1) Port Angeles, WA (2) Warrenton, Oregon, (3) Patrick Air Force Base, FL (4) Galveston, TX, (5) Pascagoula, MS, (6) Cape May, NJ, (7) Wilmington, NC, (8) Kittery, Maine, (9) St. Petersburg, FL, (10) Warrenton, Oregon, (11) Miami Beach, FL, (12) St. Petersburg, FL, (13) Patrick Air Force Base, FL, (14) Cape May, NJ. The performance period varies, with a start date on or about 12 May 2011. Trained welders, who have been certified by the applicable regulatory code performance qualification procedures, shall accomplish all welding and brazing. All reference documents are available for viewing at 300 East Main Street, Suite 500, Norfolk, VA 23510-9102. Drawings are now available on CD-ROM. The CD-ROM sets are available for all cutters and will be free of charge to contractors upon request [ten days from solicitation issuance]. SFLC must have ten (10) days advance notice to complete a CD-ROM set of drawings. The CD-ROM(s) contain WINDOWS compliant raster/vector formats (e.g.*.DWF, etc). Drawings are still available in hardcopy; however, a non-refundable charge of $150.00 is required in the form of a certified check or money order made payable to the U.S. Coast Guard for requested drawings. All responsible sources may submit an offer, which shall be considered by the United States Coast Guard. For information concerning this acquisition contact the Contracting Official listed above.
