Description
Performance Work Statement This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial supplies prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation FA4877-11-Q-0221 is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-48, Defense Circular Number 20110103 and Air Force Acquisition Circular 2010-1027. The NAICS code for this requirement is 811310. The contractor shall provide all personnel, labor, transportation, supervision, materials, equipment, and management, to provide the following: Perform Aircraft Tugs Refurbishing and Rebuilding services on 4 (four) Government-owned Entwistle aircraft tugs, one at a time, Model Number: M9434, Serial Numbers: 1, 2, 3, and 4. The specific services to be performed on each tug are listed in Appendix 1 of this Performance Work Statement (PWS). Parts and services include, but may not be limited to the following: 0001: Provide and install engine for entwistle model m9435, serial no. 4. Factory remanufactured cummins turbo 5.9 liter 6bta (complete) new motor mounts, new transfer pump, repair or replace (if necessary) exhaust system. 0002: Provide and install transmission for entwistle model m9435, serial no. 4 factory remanufactured funk transmission #2263f13nb (complete), remanufactured oem torque converter, new u-joints, factory remanufactured shift stick, lever assemply, new transmission mounts, clean and repair to oil heat exchanger, new transmission hoses. 0003: Provide and install electrical system for entwistle model m9435, serial no. 4 remanufactured starter, remanufactutred alternator, new battery and battery cables, custom made wiring harness (complete) replace gauges (as needed) repair lights which include brake lights, tail lights and headlights, disable shut-off switch 0004: Provide and install climate control for entwistle model m9435, serial no. 4, new ac unit and necessary duct work, new a/c compressor, new heat assembly and fans, new a/c hoses 0005: Transportation (freight charges) to deliver and return tow tractor to contractor's place of business for repair. *SEE ATTACHED PERFORMACE WORK STATEMENT (PWS) for COMPLETE DESCRIPTION. *NOTE: CLARIFICATIONS TO BE DISCUSSED AT SITE VISIT.
