- Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division Keyport is soliciting for Anodizing services for three hundred and twenty-four (324) components. This requirement is being issued as a synopsis for commercial Items in accordance with FAR 12.204 (b) and 5.203 (b), supplemented with additional information included in the written solicitation. The written solicitation is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ); N00253-11-T-0043, attached to this announcement. The solicitation includes base quantities of one hundred and forty-four (144) components and optional quantities of sixty (60) for three (3) option periods for a total of one hundred and eighty (180) optional components. Provisions and clauses in effect through the latest Federal Acquisition Circulars are included in the attached solicitation. The proposed contract is 100% set aside for small business concerns. Applicable NAICS code for this requirement is 332813 and has a size standard of 500 employees or less. Offers shall propose FOB destination pricing to NUWC Keyport, WA 98345-7610, Inspection and Acceptance at Destination. Requirements and evaluation procedures are listed in the written solicitation, which is required to be completely filled out and returned before the solicitation closes. All questions regarding this solicitation should be submitted in writing as soon as practicable after receipt of solicitation. Questions should be submitted via e-mail to: Jennifer.rooney@navy.mil or faxed to (360) 396-5657. No paper copies will be mailed. Failure to respond to this RFQ and associated amendments, if applicable, prior to the closing date and time may render an offer non-responsive and result in rejection of same. It is anticipated that Solicitation N00253-11-T-0043 will be issued on or around 18 Jan 2011 with an anticipated closing date of 03 Feb 2011 or as listed in the written solicitation. After downloading the solicitation, firms interested in submitting quotes must: (1) complete the pricing, (2) complete all representations and certifications found in the solicitation, (3) identify place of anodize services of proposed components, and (4) ensure current registration in the DoD Central Contractor Registration database (http://www.ccr.gov/).
