- ISO CONTAINER REPAIR LIST MIL-HDBK-138B ISO PWS ** THIS AMENDMENT IS TO ADD A PERFORMANCE WORK STATEMENT TO CLARIFY QUESTIONS RAISED AT THE SITE VISIT FOR ISO REPAIRS, MILITARY REGULATIONS: MIL-HDBK-138B AND THE UPDATED ISO CONTAINER REPAIR LIST ATTACHMENT TO INCLUDE TRAILER NUMBERS** This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial services prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation, F1C2MU0328A001-TUASON, is being issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). All solicitation documents and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-44. This procurement is a 100% Small Business set-aside IAW FAR 19.502-2 (a). The NAICS code is 811310 and the small business size standard is $7M. The following commercial items are requested: Repair of 31 ISOs shipping containers. (PLEASE SEE ATTACHED DOCUMENT FOR SPECIFIC DETAILS) All perspective vendors are required to inspect and validate the damages at the site. Any vendors who do not come to the site visit may be excluded from award. Other Pertinent Information: A site visit will be held on Friday, 21 Jan at 10:00 AM at Building 9010, Unit 14042 APO AP 96542. The central meeting location for all interested parties will be at the AAFB Visitor's Center at the main gate. ALL VENDORS INTERESTED IN ATTENDING THE SITE VISIT SCHEDULED FOR 21 JANUARY AT 10:00 MUST NOTIFY SSgt TUASON NLT COB 19 JANUARY 2010 CHAMORRO STANDARD TIME. ALL CONTRACTORS WILL BE LIMITED TO 2 PERSONNEL ONLY AND MUST PROVIDE THE NAMES IN THE SUBJECT NOTIFICATION. Location/Delivery of Service/Materials: Building 9010, Unit 14042 APO AP 96542. The following provisions and clauses apply to this acquisition: The provision at FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors--Commercial Items. Submit the price quote information via email to SSgt Jaeger Tuason at jaeger.tuason@andersen.af.mil. Responses to this RFQ must be received via e-mail not later than 7 PM Eastern Standard Time on Sunday 30 January 2011. Oral Quotes will not be accepted. Collect calls will not be accepted. All firms must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration database @ www.ccr.gov to be considered for award. All proposals must be directly submitted by the firm registered in CCR that is intended to be the successful awardee. Proposal submitted by another firm on behalf of a CCR registered company with the intention of being award "care of" will not be accepted. The provision at FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors--Commercial Items apply. Award will be based on lowest price technically acceptable.
