- Description
- The VA Central Iowa Health Care System anticipates awarding a sole source procurement to Olympus America Inc. for the procurement of a service contract for endoscopes for the period of 1/1/2011 thru 9/30/2011 located at the VA Medical Center, Des Moines, IA. Service agreement includes: full repair coverage with no cap for all contracted equipment, accidental damage coverage at no additional charge, on-site back-up GI endoscopes for the duration of the contract with a minimum quantity of six GI endoscopes on contract, prioritized repairs, next day shipping, 24/7 technical suppport, online repair tracking and history,training and support on-site and full access to preventative maintenance and educational courses offered through Olympus University. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. No solicitation will be issued. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. The anticipated award date is on or before January 19, 2011.
