- Chiller Maintenance & Repair Services Combined Synopsis/ Solicitation This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for a commercial service prepared in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.102 (g) and with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; Quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The Solicitation number is: OPM19-11-R-0001 and is issued as a Request for Quotations (RFQ). This solicitation document incorporates all mandatory commercial item provisions and clauses that are in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-47 dated January 12, 2011. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code is 238220, and the small business size standard is $14 million. This procurement is unrestricted, allowing both large and small business to submit proposals. The Office of Personnel Management (OPM) is soliciting a contractor to provide preventive maintenance on 2 Carrier 19XR chillers located at 1900 E St NW Washington, DC. The contractor shall also provide all labor, incidental materials, and other services necessary to render services under the resulting contract, see Statement of Objectives detailed below. Offerors are invited to submit their proposals to OPM Contracting in response to this notice by 3:00 PM Eastern Standard Time (EST), February 11, 2011. Only e-mailed requests for additional information will be accepted at siobhan.lake@opm.gov through 12:00 PM, January 28, 2011. Quotations submitted in response to this notice shall include the solicitation number in the subject line and be signed, dated and submitted via email to Siobhan.lake@opm.gov. Vendors not registered in the Central Contractor Registration ( CCR ) database at the time the requirement is to be awarded will not be considered. Vendors may register with CCR by calling 1-888-227-2423 or (269) 961-5757, or by accessing www.ccr.gov. The Office of Personnel Management intends to award a Best Value Firm Fixed Price purchase order for this requirement. The period of performance is from March 13, 2011 through March 12, 2016.
