- Description
- Furnish all planning, supervision, labor, equipment, materials, parts, and all things necessary to rehabilitate the 17-Ton Spillway Crane at the Selden Dam Spillway, Sawyerville, Alabama. The scope of work includes (but is not limited to): inspecting, cleaning, repairing, spot painting and replacing equipment; preparing reports and load testing; and optional items of work to sample and abate lead paint and asbestos. It is anticipated that a fixed-price contract will be awarded based on best value procedures. Source selection criteria will be included in the solicitation; therefore, detailed proposals will be required. This procurement is 100% set-aside for small business using NAICS 333923; the size standard for which is 500 employees. The solicitation will only be issued as a direct download at the following website: https://www.fbo.gov. All offerors must be registered in FBO before they will be allowed to download solicitation information. All site visits will need to be performed by February 3, 2011. Interested parties should schedule a site visit by e-mailing Mr. James Curry at james.r.curry@usace.army.mil as soon as possible after release of the solicitation. The solicitation will not be provided in a printed paper format, however, the Government reserves the right to revert to paper medium when it is determined to be in the Government's best interest. Therefore, it is the offeror's responsibility to check the website for solicitation posting and any changes to this solicitation.
