- NASA/GSFC plans to issue a Draft Request for Proposal (RFP) for the Space and EarthScience Data Analysis (SESDA III) procurement. The resultant follow-on contract willsupport Goddard Space Flight Centers (GSFCs) Sciences and Exploration Directorate.Potential offerors are encouraged to comment on all aspects of the draft solicitation. This procurement is a total small business set-aside. It is anticipated that the resultant contract will be Cost-Plus-Fixed-Fee (CPFF). Thebasic contract period of performance is for three-years with one two-year option. The Government does not intend to acquire a commercial item using FAR Part 12. The NAICSCode and Size Standard are 541712 and 1,000 employees, respectively. The Draft RFP is released with this pre-award synopsis. The solicitation and anydocuments related to this procurement will be available over the Internet. Thesedocuments will reside on a World Wide Web (WWW) server, which may be accessed using a WWWbrowser application. The Internet site, or URL, for the NASA Business Opportunities homepage is http://procurement.nasa.gov/cgi-bin/EPS/bizops.cgi?gr=D&pin=51. It is theofferor's responsibility to monitor the Internet site for the release of the solicitationand amendments (if any). Potential offerors will be responsible for downloading their owncopy of the solicitation and amendments (if any). NOTE: The Draft RFP was originally posted under the synopsis entitled REQUEST FORINFORMATION - SOURCES SOUGHT FOR THE SPACE AND EARTH SCIENCES DATA ANALYSIS PROGRAMSSESDA III, Solicitation Number: NNG10341433L, located at the following URL:http://prod.nais.nasa.gov/cgi-bin/eps/synopsis.cgi?acqid=141259. However for claritypurposes, this new posting for the SESDA III procurement has been established andincludes the Draft RFP Documents, which have not changed in content from the earlierposting. All documents related to the Draft RFP and Final RFP will be posted to this newsite. Potential Offerors are responsible for monitoring the Internet site for the releaseof the solicitation and any amendments. The Draft RFP Documents will be removed from theRFI posting.
