- Description
- The 87th Contracting Squadron, Joint Base McGuire Dix Lakehurst, NJ intends to award a contract on a sole source basis to Pitney Bowes, Inc, 1 Elmcroft Road, Stamford, CT 06926 for leasing, repair, and maintenance of existing postal equipment. Description of work: shall be for the rental, maintenance and support to the USAF 87 CS/SCOKE mail centers. This effort shall include repair, maintenance, and support primarily to 3 postal service offices on Lakehurst, McGuire, and Fort Dix. The contractor shall provide all qualified personnel, equipment, tools, materials, supervision, and other items necessary to perform contracted services. PERIOD OF PERFORMANCE: The Period of Performance for this Statement of Work shall be 1 February 2011 through 30 January 2014. This Period of Performance shall constitute a contract of one base year period with two one year option periods. This notice is not a request for quote, and serves as informational purposes only. This notice does not obligate the Government to award a contract. The FAR authority for the award of other than full and open competition is 6.302-1.
