- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. ATTENTION****FORMAL COMMUNICATION RELATED TO THIS ACQUISITION SHOULD BE DIRECTED TO Larry Allen, Contracting Officer, 256-313-4111, you may fax your request Attention: CCAM-AP-A Fax: 256-313-4144 or Attention: CCAM-AP-A, Adam Kimbro, Contract Specialist, Fax: 256-313-4144, NO TELEPHONE REQUESTS WILL BE ACCEPTED. The Government proposes to acquire, on a sole source basis from Rockwell Collins Simulation & Training Solutions LLC - Salt Lake City, Cage Code 4EYA1, Longbow Crew Trainer (LCT) Service Support: Development of EPX5000 Iraq and FSXXI Database Shape Files. The Contractor shall Generate and deliver to APACHE PMO, Export Shape Files of the EPX5000 Iraq and FSXXI databases to supplement the previously delivered OpenFlight product that shall be used to support the development of Objective OneSAF compliant databases, including non-recurring engineering, integration and qualification efforts under the authority and justification for Other than Full and Open Competition under FAR Subpart 6.302-1based on the determination that the Government needs can only be satisfied by one source. Only Rockwell Collins Simulation & Training Solutions LLC - Salt Lake City possesses the technical expertise, data and experience necessary to execute this requirement.
