- Description
- The Federal Bureau of Prisons - Field Acquisition Office in Grand Prairie, Texas, intends to make a single award for the provision of waste water services for the United States Penitentiary (USP) located at #1 Federal Way in Atwater, California 95301. The successful contractor will be required to provide waste water service and reservation of capacity in their wastewater system to accept and treat an estimated average daily discharge flow of 309,320 gallons for the BOP operations. The estimated quantities for the base and each option year are estimated at 112,901,600 gallons. Contractor shall provide waste water service for a minimum of 309,320 gallons per day. The Contracting Officer anticipates awarding a requirements type contract with firm-fixed prices with a performance period of ten (10) years. The solicitation will be available on or about April 5, 2011 and will be distributed solely through the General Services Administration Federal Business Opportunities website at www.fedbizopps.gov. Hard copies of the solicitation will not be available. The website provides all downloading instructions to obtain a copy of the solicitation. All future information concerning the acquisition, including solicitation amendments, will be distributed solely through the website. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring the site to ensure you have the most up-to-date information about the acquisition. All contractors doing business with the Federal Government shall be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database. The website for registration is www.ccr.gov. The anticipated date for receipt of proposals is on or about May 18, 2011. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this solicitation is 221320 and the applicable small business standard is $7.0 million. This solicitation is unrestricted. Please ensure CCR registration includes the appropriate NAICS code. Faith-Based and Community-Based Organizations can submit offers/bids/quotations equally with other organizations for contracts for which they are eligible.
