- APC UPS AGS Training for NAVFAC Hawaii. The work includes, but is not limited to providing instructors, instructional materials, facilities, test equipment, and other items necessary to provide training to and certification of NAVFAC Hawaii employees. Training includes start-up, operation, maintenance and repair of APC UPS proprietary equipment including its options and communication features. Procurement Method: Streamlined Procedures for Solicitation for Commercial Items. The NAICS Code for this procurement is 611519 and the annual size standard is $7,000,000.00. The contract term will be 12 calendar days. This is a new procurement. It does not replace an existing contract. No prior contract information exists. Offerors can view and/or download the solicitation, and any attachments, at https://www.neco.navy.mil/. This contract action is for services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only American Power Conversion Corporation under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b), since the equipment is proprietary and APC is the only firm authorized to provide the subject training. Firms that have the capability to perform the above work should notify us by January 25, 2011, 9:00 am, HST. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. A determination by the Government not to compete the proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
