- Officer in Charge of Construction MCIWEST is responsible for executing the construction projects in support of the ~$5+ Billion "Barracks Revitalization," the "Grow the Force" and the "American Reinvestment & Recovery Act" programs. As noted below we recently surpassed a significant milestone - 10 million man hours of construction. To this end, CAPT Michael Williamson, Commanding Officer of the OICC MCIWEST I would like to extend the Small Business Community an invitation to join us this Friday at the South Mesa Club. Nineteen of our larger contractors will showcase both work completed and work in progress. The objectives of this symposium are to share lessons learned, to connect with our supported commands and to renew world class construction goals going forward. CAPT Williamson expects from 300-500 attendees.
