- This Amendment to the subject Source Sought Notice is to facilitate the transfer of the classified threat information. The contractor should include in their request for additional information a valid SIPRnet e-mail address if available. The Government's preferred method of sending the classified information is via the SIPRnet. However, if the contractor does not have a SIPRnet account, an address for shipment of a classified package should be provided. In conjunction with a request for the additional threat information the contractor shall submit a visit request thru JPAS using SMO Code W0H9AA4SF or via fax number 256-842-9573 to: CMDS Project Office ATTN: Security/Visitor Control Bldg 5308, 2nd Floor Redstone Arsenal, AL 35898 Security POCs: Loretta Warner/256-842-7663, Veronica Jarrell/842-0833, Joe DiNoto/842-2658 Government Technical POC: Jason Gilliam Further, this Amendment deletes the following sentence of the original RFI, "All respondents will be notified of the disposition of their whitepaper." In Accordance with FAR15.201 (e), the Government has no intent to award a contract, but wants to obtain price, delivery, other market research information, or capabilities for planning purposes. Responses to these notices are not offers and cannot be accepted by the Government to form a binding contract. Responses to this Sources Sought Notice are still due by 1700 hours (CST), 7 Feb 11; no extension of the response date is anticipated.
