- Description
- The Veterans Affairs Pacific Islands Health Care System (VAPIHCS) has a requirement to clean and seal HVAC ductwork in the E-Wing, 459 Patterson Road Tripler Army Medical Center Honolulu, Hawaii 96819-1522. This notice is provided for informational purposes only. The opportunity is available only to contractors under Public Law 109-461 and 38 USC 8127. This acquisition will be solicited pursuant to the Veterans' First Public Law as a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business Set-Aside. The SDVOSB contractor is required to perform a minimum of 51% of the work on the project. This does not include paperwork, submittals, etc. Contractor shall provide cleaning and sealing of all HVAC ductwork and associated air handling units (AHU's) in E-Wing. The E-Wing consists of four stories and a basement. (Approx. 90,000 sf.) Contractor shall include but is not be limited to all labor, equipment, tools, materials, parts, supervision, testing equipment, permits licenses and transportation necessary to fully maintain HVAC systems, equipment, controls and related systems. NAICS Code 238220/$14.0 million. This solicitation will be available only via the Federal Business Opportunities website (www.fedbizopps.gov). All Offerors MUST be registered and verified in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database and Vendor Information Pages at (www.vetbiz.gov). The solicitation will be made available after February 1, 2011. Offerors will need to click on the RFP VA-261-11-RP-0129 solicitation in order to download the solicitation documents. Submit all questions to the Contracting Specialist, Nandini Johnson via email at nandini.johnson@va.gov by February 8, 2011, 12:00 Noon. All questions will be answered via an amendment to the solicitation posted through www.fedbizopps.gov NLT February 15, 2011. It is therefore the Contractor's responsibility to check the above listed address daily for any posted changes to solicitation's plans and specifications. The submission deadline for this solicitation is February 18, 2011 by 12:00 p.m. Pacific time. This action is 100 Percent (100%) set aside for Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business concerns (38 U.S.C. 8127). The government reserves the right to cancel this solicitation, either before or after closing.
