- This is not a request for proposal. This synopsis is for information and planning purposes only and it is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government. This is not a solicitation announcement for proposals and no contract will be awarded from this announcement. Reimbursement will not be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this announcement and any follow-up information requests. Sierra Army Depot is looking for sources that can meet the following specifications (Buy American Act applies): -30' x 60' silver heavy duty polyethylene tarp, 6.0 oz per square yard, 1200 denier, 14 x 14 weave count, grommets approximately every 18", 12 - 14 mil thick, waterproof, mildew proof, tear resistant, acid resistant UV treated on both sides -50' x 100' silver heavy duty polyethylene tarp, 6.0 oz per square yard, 1200 denier, 14 x 14 weave count, grommets approximately every 18", 12 - 14 mil thick, waterproof, mildew proof, tear resistant, acid resistant UV treated on both sides Responses shall include: -Company Name -Business size -Country of origin of tarps (Buy American Act applies) The NAICS code is 314912 and the related small business size is 500 employees. Interested parties must be registered in the Central Contracting Registration (CCR). All responses are due January 28, 2011, 5:00 PM (EST).
