- Homeport Locations & Schedule Sources Sought Notice 1/12/2011 USCG 270 FOOT MEDIUM ENDURANCE CUTTERS (WMEC 901-913) HELO 400 HZ POWER SUPPLY CABLE INSTALLATION FOR DOCKSIDE REPAIRS The U.S. Coast Guard is considering whether or not to set aside an acquisition for HUBZone concerns, for Service-Disabled Veteran-owned Small Business concerns, or for Total Small Business concerns. The small business size standard is 1,000 employees. The NAICS Code is 336611. The scope of the acquisition is to: (1) Provide Helo 400 HZ Power Supply Cable and Installation, on thirteen (13) USCG 270 Foot Medium Endurance Cutters (WMEC 901-913). (2) Travel and Per Diem to install all thirteen (13) 400 HZ Cables onboard the cutters at the different cutter locations (See attached list of locations and period of performance. All work will be performed at the vessels home pier. These vessels home piers are located: (1) Portsmouth, VA, (2) Kittery, ME, (3) Boston, MA, (4) Key West, FL. The performance period varies, with a start date on or about 22 June 2011. At the present time, this acquisition is expected to be issued small business set-aside. However, in accordance with FAR 19.305 and FAR 19.1405, if your firm is and intends to submit an offer on this acquisition, please include the following (a) positive statement of your intent to submit a quotation for this procurement as a prime contractor; (b) evidence of experience in work similar in type and scope to include contract numbers, project title, dollar amount, points of contact and phone numbers; (c) Past Performance references with points of contacts and phone numbers. At least two references are requested, but more are desirable. Your response is required by January 18, 2011 by 11:00am Eastern Standard Time (EST). All of the above must be submitted in sufficient detail for a decision to be made on a HUBZone Set-Aside, Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business of a Total Small Business Set-Aside. Failure to submit information requested may result in an unrestricted acquisition. A decision on whether this will be pursued as HUBZone Set-Aside, Serviced-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business, Total Small Business Set-Aside, or on an unrestricted basis will be posted on FEDBizOPPs website at http://www.fbo.gov.
