- The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Acquisitions and Logistics program is currently seeking firms, Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) ONLY with the ability to provide "A CERTIFIED-LICENSED QUALIFIED PROFESSIONAL INSPECTOR (QPI) TO PERFORM REQUIRED BOILER INSPECTIONS AND OPERATIONAL TESTING SEMI-ANNUALLY" for the VISN 3 facilities, Bronx VA Medical Center located at 130 W. Kingsbridge Road, Bronx, NY 10468 and the Northport VA Medical Center located at 79 Middleville Road, Northport, NY 11768. NUMBER/LIST OF BOILERS: Bronx - 3 boilers built in 1977, 40,000 lbs/hrs. Manufacturer is Trane Company. Northport - 4 boilers, 3 built in 1968, 40,000 lbs/hr and 1 built in 1969, 20,000 lbs/hr. Serial # 14651-1 (1968) stamped NB4468, Serial # 14651-2 (1968) stamped NB4469, Serial # 14651-3 (1968) stamped NB4470 and Serial # 14651-4 (1969) stamped NB4471. The firm will be responsible for providing all management, supervision, labor, materials, supplies and equipment, and shall plan, schedule, coordinate and assure effective performance of these required services.
