- The Naval Air Systems Command Aircraft Division (NAVAIR-AD), Patuxent River, Maryland has a requirement for Brand Name: LED Fluorescent Lighting Tubes and Bulbs (Qty:234) which is manufactured and provided by LEDdynamics. LEDdynamics are the original and only known manufacturer of this non-commercial item. The production of this item requires assess to proprietary information controlled by LEDdynamics. NAVAIR-AD intends to negotiate solely with LEDdynamics for the above items with an anticipated award date of January 21th, 2011, and an estimated delivery date of February 22th 2011. All responsible sources may submit a capabilities statement, which shall be considered by the agency. The Government solely for the purpose of determining whether to initiate a competitive procurement will consider all capabilities statements received. Technical capability will be determined solely on the content and merit of the information submitted in response to this provision. Therefore, it is incumbent on the interested party to provide sufficient technical literature, documentation, etc. in order for the Government to make an adequate technical assessment. The Government reserves the right to process the procurement on a sole source basis for the brand specific item based upon the responses received. The Government will not pay for any information received. Inspection and Acceptance shall be at destination. Offerors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database prior to submission of an offer to be considered for award of any DOD contract. This may be accomplished electronically at http://www.ccr.gov/vendor.cfm.
