- The project consists of the renovation of an existing kitchen building to include kitchen, dining room, storage rooms, temperature controlled rooms, restrooms, administration offices, garbage room, and loading dock. The items to be renovated include the roof structures, doors, windows, electrical system, plumbing and sewer systems, floor, masonry walls, paint, sidewalks, and access ramps. Place of Performance: Project location is the Anita Moreno Hospital in the Santa Ana community, Los Santos District, Province of Los Santos, Panama. Location coordinates are N07o55' 30.7" and W80 o2' 36.6". Contract Information: The award will be based on Lowest Priced, Technically Acceptable Offer (LPTA) best value acquisition which will be cited in the solicitation. The period of performance of this contract is based on 180 calendar days from the date of the award. The resulting contract type shall be firm fixed price. The estimated construction cost for this project is between $250,000.00 and $500,000 dollars. Obtaining the solicitation: The solicitation will be issued unrestricted to allow U.S. and non U.S. firms to participate. The solicitation, including drawings and specifications, will be available for download from FedBizOpps - website: http://www.fbo.gov. The solicitation, and the associated documents for this project, will not be issued on CD unless there are technical difficulties that cannot be promptly corrected on the FedBizOpps website. All notifications of changes to this solicitation shall be made through the Internet only. It is the contractor's responsibility to check for any posted changes to the solicitation. The solicitation and any future amendments to the solicitation will be available for download via the FedBizOpps website on or about 27 January 2011.
