- Project Summary: The Project consists of replacing the roofing systems of a single story (with mechanical penthouse),and the metal panel wall adjacent to the Visitor's Entrance of the building used as the Northern California TRACON (Terminal Radar Approach and Control) facility by the Federal Aviation Administration. The facility includes a 78,090 Gross Square Feet building, plus an 8,032 GrossSquare Feet mechanical penthouse in the building. Please find attached Statement of Work, Specifications and Drawings and applicable Wage Determination. The procurement will be awarded according to the TIERED EVALUATION METHOD of procurement. (In short, all are welcome to make an offer, but preference is given in accordance with specific business sizes. See Section M for more information.) This Notice is for informational purposes for Minority, Women-Owned and Disadvantaged Business Enterprises: The Department of Transportation (DOT), Office of Small and Disadvantaged Business Utilization, has a program to assist small businesses, small businesses owned and controlled by a socially and economically disadvantaged individuals, and women-owned concerns to acquire short-term working capital assistance for transportation-related contracts. Loans are available under the DOT Short Term Lending Program (STLP) at prime interest rates to provide accounts receivable financing. The maximum line of credit is $750,000.
