- Contractor shall completely prepare site for building operations, including demolition and removal of existing structures, and furnish labor, materials and equipment necessary to perform work for project 538-10-115, entitled RENOVATE MORGUE at VAMC at the Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center, Chillicothe, Ohio, as required by drawings and specifications. The work includes but is not limited to general construction and installation of equipment necessary to renovate the morgue as shown and specified. Work to be completed with 270 calendar days after receipt of Notice to Proceed. Plans, specifications, and drawings will be available on line o/a January 25, 2011. All plans, specifications and drawings will be available online, no hardcopies will be issued. Estimated cost range is between $100,000.00 and $250,000.00. A pre-bid-conference will be held at 10:00 a.m. (local time) Tuesday, February 8, 2011 in Building 1, Room 121 at the VA Medical Center, 17273 State Route 104, Chillicothe, Ohio; all prospective contractors, subcontractors and suppliers are urged to attend. This will be the only site visit scheduled for this project. Bid opening Tuesday, March 1, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. (local time). This project is 100% set-aside for Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business. NAICS 236220.
