- Synopsis The US Army Sustainment Command (ASC) intends to issue Request for Proposal (RFP) W52P1J-10-R-0205. This solicitation is for a FFP base contract plus four option periods for the BSU-33 Fin Assembly, NSN #1325-01-282-8343. FOB is Destination. Proposed contract will be best value small business set aside. Detailed specifics of the technical and quality requirements will be provided in the solicitation. The technical data package is classified as Distribution D limited distribution. Distribution Statement D means that the TDP cannot be distributed on the Internet. This TDP contains technical data whose import is restricted by the Arms Export Control Act, (Title 22, U.S.C., SEC 27 51 ET SEQ.) or the Export Administration Act of 1979, as amended titled, 50 U.S.C. APP 2240, ET SEQ. Violations of these export laws are subject to severe criminal penalties. Disseminate IAW provisions of DOD Directive 52 30.25. Offerors must be registered with the U.S./Canada Joint Certification Office to obtain the TDP. The TDP will not be available until after the solicitation is formerly issued. Upon issuance of the solicitation, you must provide a receipt of required certification and request a copy of the TDP via email to Mary.b.ford@us.army.mil; request MUST include Cage Code, Company Name, Address, Phone, Email address and point of contact. The TDP will then be mailed to those certified offerors. Please allow two weeks for delivery. If expedited receipt of drawings is desired your company Federal Express number must be provided with request. The response date listed above is for archive purposes only and is NOT the date in which offers are due. The date offers are due will not be issued until the solicitation is issued. ESTIMATED solicitation issue date is 1 February 2011. This is an estimated date only and may be subject to change. This solicitation will be issued electronically in accordance with FAR 4.502 and 5.102(a)(1); therefore, hardcopies will not be provided. Vendors wishing an electronic copy may download it on or after the issue date by accessing the Army Single Face to Industry (ASFI) Website at the following address via the internet: https://acquisition.army.mil/asfi/. CAUTION: This solicitation will be issued electronically as will any amendments thereto. Because of this, the Government is under no obligation and is in fact unable to maintain a bidders mailing list. It is therefore incumbent upon any interested parties to periodically access the above internet address in order to obtain any amendments which may be issued. Failure to obtain any said amendments and to respond to them prior to the date and time set for bid opening/receipt of proposals may render your bid or proposal nonresponsive and result in the rejection of same.
