- Description
- The Fleet and Industrial Supply Center intends to negotiate a purchase order for one (1) each High Temperature Tube Furnace in order to support the Naval Post Graduate School. The specific requirements that this product must possess are as follows: Maximum Operation Temperature: 1800 C (with inert gas) with temperature accuracy of +/- 1 C PID Temperature Controller with >20 programmable steps Heating/Cooling Rate: at least 5 C/min Constant Temperature Zone: at least 5 Ceramic tube with ID>60mm Vacuum capabilities (down to 10^-5 torr) The request for quotes will be posted to www.neco.navy.mil on or about 10 January 2011. Lack of registration in the Central Contract Registration database will make an offeror ineligible for award. The contract award will be a firm-fixed price contract. Commercial procedures are being used for this procurement. Delivery will be to the Naval Postgraduate School, Monterey, CA.
