- This notice is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared inaccordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additionalinformation included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation;offers are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This notice is being issued as a Request for Quotations (RFQ) for Two each W-7 48 ValveActuators. The actuators shall be factory new L120-420/150/1800 series electric motoractuators as manufactured by Flowserve/Limitorque. Each actuator shall be provided with the following features and shall conform to thelatest NASA wiring schematic and specification of existing valve wiring. Drawing will beprovided on award.2 each Limitorque L120-420/150/1800 electric motor actuator having the followingfeatures.Nema 4 weatherproof construction; 16 contact limit switch; double torque switch; integralreversing motor starter mechanically and electrically interlocked; integral 115Vaccontrol power transformer; integral current overload wired through the hot side of thecircuit; integral blue and white indicating lights; 110 vac compartment and motor spaceheater; declutchable manual handwheel override; 230 volt, 3 phase, 60 hertz motor; drive2 thrust base; machined stem nut to a 2G fit to the gate valve stem; A36 hot rolled steeltransition mounting hardware and grade 5 fasteners designed to withstand the stall torqueof the actuator; clear plastic non-yellowing stem protector; overall stroke time to be2.6 minutes; 2 year warranty; field service by a factory qualified and certified fieldservice technician to calibrate the actuators upon completion of the installation.The provisions and clauses in the RFQ are those in effect through FAC _2005_- 47 CURRENTFAC CAN BE OBTAINED FROM http://nais.nasa.gov/far/. This procurement is a total small business set-aside. See Note 1.The NAICS Code and the small business size standard for this procurement are 423830 and100 employees, respectively. The offeror shall state in their offer their size status forthis procurement. All responsible sources may submit an offer which shall be considered by the agency.Delivery to NASA Glenn Research Center, 21000 Brookpark Road, Cleveland, OH 44135 shallbe FOB Destination. Offers for the items(s) described above are due by close of business January 21, 2011 toAntoinette M.
