- Description
- Citrix is the only known source capable of meeting the requirement as described herein. NITC owns and administers a Citrix server farm used to support all major applications including GIS, Maximo, Circuits, and all database development and administration access. This farm consists of 810 Citrix Xenapp licenses that require a support contract. Citrix is imbedded into the IT infrastructure so the continued operation of this software is a requirement. NITC requires a vendor support maintenance agreement for the Citrix server farm in order to maintain IA compliance and ensure it can properly support the Citrix environment. NITC will be unable to apply security patches as required by the IAVM without a maintenance support agreement. The contract term is one (1) year with a one (1)-year option period, for a total of two (2) years. The proposed contract action is for services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. Interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, inquiries received within 15 days of the date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. The Government ™s determination not to compete the proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is at the Government ™s discretion. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
