- Description
- The Military Fleet Support Command has a requirement for the upcoming Mid-Term Availability of the USNS KANAWHA (T-AO 196). The period of performance for this requirement is to commence o/a 13 Jun 2011 for a period of seventy (70) calendar days. This requirement will be set-aside for small business. Major work includes TANK DECK OVERHEAD POWER TOOL CLEAN AND PRESERVE, 02 LEVEL DECK HYDRO BLAST AND RECOAT, MAIN ENGINE 72,000 HOUR OVERHAUL, SHAFT BRAKES OVERHAUL AND MAIN ENGINE TURBOCHARGER OVERHAUL. Offeror areas is East and Gulf Coast. Otherwise sucessful offeror must possess an Agreement Boat Repair (ABR) with NAVSEA in order to receive award. The estimated issue date for this solicitation is 24 January 2011. Upon issuance, the solicitation will be posted and can be found on FedBizOpps.
