- The proposed contract action is for commercial supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under authority of FAR 13.106-1(b) (1). Interested parties may identify their interest and capabilities to respond to the requirement. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals; however, the Government will consider all responses received within five days after the date of publication of this notice of intent. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract action is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Congressional Quarterly is the only vendor who can supply CQ Today News & CQ Schedules, CQ Weekly, CQ House Action Reports & CQ Senate Watch, Congressional Research Service (CSR) Reports, CQ Bill Analysis, CQ Homeland Security, CQ Member Profiles, Custom List & E-mail/Blackberry Alerts, CQ Bill Track and Custom Bill Reports, Enhanced Government Documents: Bill Text and CQ Bill Compare, CRS Bill Digest, Committee Reports (w/searchable charts) and Congressional Record, CQ Committee Coverage and Amendment Text, CQ Congressional and Newsmaker Transcripts, CQ Hot Docs, CQ Document Manager, Knowlegis Federal Edition (up to 40 authorized users) and CQ Archives.
