- NASA/JSC plans to issue a Request for Proposal (RFP) for the following Commercialitem/services:Open Innovation Support Services for an external crowd sourcing platformthat supports the ability to publically post challenges (external to NASA) and facilitateinteraction with an extensive solver network.The NAICS Code and Size Standard are 541990 and $5 million, respectively. The anticipated release date of the RFP is on or about February 4, 2011 with ananticipated proposal due date of on or about March 3, 2011.After release of the RFP, all responsible sources may submit a proposal which shall beconsidered by the agency.NASA Clause 1852.215-84, Ombudsman, is applicable. The installation Ombudsman is MelanieSaunders, melanie.saunders-1@nasa.gov. The solicitation and any documents related to this procurement will be available over theInternet. These documents will reside on a World-Wide Web (WWW) server, which may beaccessed using a WWW browser application. The Internet site, or URL, for the NASABusiness Opportunities page is http://procurement.nasa.gov/cgi-bin/EPS/bizops.cgi?gr=D&pin=.Prospective offerors shall notify this office of their intent to submit an offer. It isthe offeror's responsibility to monitor the Internet site for the release of thesolicitation and amendments (if any). Potential offerors will be responsible fordownloading their own copy of the solicitation and amendments(if any).All contractual and technical questions must be submitted in writing (e-mail) to PerryLamar Mueller at perry.l.mueller@nasa.gov not later than January 14, 2011.
