- Sources Sought: KTM Media Convertor Solicitation Number: W9124R-11-KTM Response Due Date: 12 January 2011 The Mission and Installation Contracting Command (MICC) Center - Yuma is seeking to identify contractors interested in providing a KTM Media Convertor. This is not a Request for Proposal (RFP), nor is it to be construed as a commitment by the Government to issue a solicitation or ultimately award a contract. Responses to the query will not be considered as proposals, nor will any award be made as a result of this query. The MICC Center - Yuma will NOT be responsible for any costs incurred by interested parties in responding to this query. This FedBizOpps notice is an announcement seeking market information on businesses capable of providing a KTM Media Convertor as described in the attached draft specifications. MICC Center - Yuma is currently conducting market research to determine qualified, experienced, and interested potential sources capable of providing a KTM Media Convertor at USAYPG. The information requested herein will be used within the Army to facilitate decision making and will not be disclosed outside the agency. Should a future solicitation evolve from this preliminary planning process, it is anticipated that the quantity would be eighteen (18) pair. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 335999, Miscellaneous Electrical Equipment and Component Manufacturing. If your firm has an interest in responding, please provide a Capability Statement to Mission and Installation Contracting Command (MICC) Center - Yuma, 301 C Street, Bldg 2364 Rm 101, Yuma, AZ 85365-9498 or fax to 928-328-6849. The Capability Statement should include general information and technical background describing your firm's experiences in contracts requiring similar items. The Capability Statement should include the following information: 1.Company name, address, point of contact, telephone number, fax number, e-mail address, NAICS Code, DUNs number, and cage code. 2.Please identify any GSA Schedules your organization holds. 3.Please identify if your organization is capable of providing the supply described within the specifications. 4.Please identify any non-conformities to the specifications. 5.Please identify all socio-economic statuses that apply to your organization. (Example: HubZone, Small Disadvantaged Business, Small Business, Minority Owned Business, etc.) 6.What North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code would you recommend for the contemplated supplies described within the attached draft specifications? 7.Please provide references for any KTM Media Convertor's supplied by your firm which are currently in use: a.Contract identification number(s) b.Title and a brief summary of the scope of the effort c.Contracting agency or firm (Government or commercial) d.Approximate value of the contract(s) e.Type of contract(s), e.g., fixed price, cost reimbursement, labor hour 8.Please identify if your organization manufactures the equipment being supplied. 9.Please identify what manufacturing and quality control standards your organization meets. 10.Please identify if subcontracting opportunities exist for the supplies covered by the SOW. 11.Please identify if the items required are customarily performed in the commercial marketplace or if these supplies are performed exclusively for Governmental purposes. Interested parties shall not submit more than 10 single sided, type-written pages using 12-point type or larger. Published literature may be any number of pages.
