- 2011 LRBAA Announcement Amendment 00006 -- December 29, 2010 *** This notice is also included in the attached document 'LRBAA 11-03 FedBizOpps Notice.docx' *** Notice: DHS S&T 2011 Long Range BAA The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Science and Technology Directorate (S&T) accepts submissions from all for-profit, non-profit, and public entities for research and development projects across a spectrum of science and engineering disciplines. Currently, these submissions are being received through the Long Range Broad Agency Announcement (BAA) 10-01. The Long Range BAA is conducted as contemplated in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.102(d)(2) and 35.016. Long Range BAA 10-01 can be accessed on the Federal Business Opportunities website at: https://www.fbo.gov/spg/DHS/OCPO/DHS-OCPO/DHSS-TLRBAA10-01/listing.html. At 11:59 pm on December 31, 2010 this Long Range BAA will close; the Federal Business Opportunities announcement will expire and DHS S&T will stop accepting 10-01 submissions through the BAA website: https://baa.st.dhs.gov/. DHS S&T will issue a Long Range BAA for 2011; it will be designated as LRBAA 11-03. DHS S&T is implementing an improved web interface, which will replace the current website https://baa.st.dhs.gov/. Long Range BAA 11-03 will not be posted and submissions will not be accepted until the new website is complete. It is anticipated that Long Range BAA 11-03 will open on or about January 24, 2011. Offerors must hold all submissions, White Papers and Full Proposals, between January 1, 2011 and the date when Long Range BAA 11-03 is posted. Please note that there is no advantage or disadvantage, concerning available funding, programmatic need, or any other factor, in making a submission under the 2010 or 2011 Long Range BAA. The complete Long Range BAA 11-03 announcement will be posted to Federal Business Opportunities on or about January 24, 2011. It will include the address for the improved web interface.
