Quantity: 1, year, including 18 large users and 32 small users.DESCRIPTION: This is a combined synopsis solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quote is being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation is being conducted under Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP) as a Request for Quote (RFQ) Number D11PS40179. The solicitation will be solicited under Other Than Full and Open Competition. The solicitation document will incorporates the following provision and clauses and are in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-47 and apply to this acquisition as follows: 52.212-2 Evaluation -Commercial Items; 52.212-3 Offeror Representation and Certification-Commercial Items; 52.212-4 Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items; 52.212-5 Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders-Commercial Items; 52.247-34 FOB Destination 52.232-33 Payment by Electronics Funds Transfer.FAR 52.212-5, Contract Terms and conditions Required to implement Statutes or Executive Orders. Sole Source to the Center for Internet Security (CIS), Inc., 806 Tally HO Dr, Hershey, PA 17033-1827Justification for Sole Source (per FAR 13.106-1(b)): This is a logical follow-on requirement that has been already performed by the CIS to support the Department of Interior's internet security environment. The service provided by the CIS is compatible in all aspects (form, fit and function) with existing systems presently installed at numerous bureaus under the Department of Interior. Development of security configuration benchmarks already established through the department will need continuing service form the same service provider.
