Description
RFP for the Afghanistan Field Training. Solicitation # SFSIAQ11R0010 --Mandatory Site Visit for all offerors will take place January 14th 2011. See section "L Instructions" within the solicitation.-- The Interagency Integrated Civil-Military Field Training is a mandatory course for all individuals, unless exempted by appropriate procedures, who will serve in Afghanistan under Chief of Mission authority at a District Support Team, Provincial Reconstruction Team, International Security Assistance Force (ISAF) military brigade headquarters, ISAF military regional command, or other civil-military field platforms, as well as U.S. Mission positions in Kabul that support the field. The Field Training is one of four mandatory courses for these USG personnel and its learning objectives must be integrated with the learning objectives of the other mandatory courses. The Field Training course provides essential information, skills, and experiences so students may advance the foreign policy objectives of the United States in Afghanistan. The class is offered at the Camp Atterbury-Muscatatuck Center for Complex Operations.

Address: The contractor shall perform tasks under this contract at multiple locations including, Government-owned facilities at Camp Atterbury Joint Maneuver Training Center, Edinburgh, Indiana, Muscatatuck Urban Training Center, Butlerville, Indiana, the Foreign Service Institute (FSI), Arlington, Virginia, or other contractor facilities as required., The majority of training will occur at the training facilities in Indiana., United States
