- This modification corrects the closing date to read on or about February 15, 2011. This modification corrects the closing date to read January 15, 2011 and changes the discription of the project to read : This is a commercial item acquisition for technical expertise for collaboration on accomplishing recreation program goals. The contractor shall provide consulting services to the Director for Recreation, Wilderness, Heritage and Volunteer programs for conducting recreation program and project reviews; recreation project planning and design; and conducting facility condition surveys. The contractor shall also participate in developing project cost estimates and statements of work; sign plans, assessments, inventories and planning related to scenery and recreation setting; participate as a team member for midscale planning efforts (corridors, watersheds, and communities); for Regional and Forest level strategic planning and/or budget allocation; conducting competitions for Continuous Improvement Process (CIP) or other funding sources; and assist Regional efforts to provide training and mentoring to forest staff. The Government will provide all equipment and supplies necessary for the performance of this contract including laptops. It is the intent of the Government to award an Indefinite Quantity type contract for a base year with four option year periods. This announcement replaces announcement for AG-43ZP-S-10-0011. The solicitation will be available on or about January 12, 2011.
