- Description
- The Naval Air Systems Command intends to issue a Cost Plus Award Fee (CPAF) contract modification under CH-53K SDD contract N00019-06-C-0081 on an other than full and open competitive basis to Sikorsky Aircraft Corporation (SAC) 6900 Main Street, P.O. Box 9731, Stratford, CT 06615-9129 the Original Equipment Manufacturer of the United States Navy Heavy-Lift Helicopter, CH-53E Super Stallion and the sole source contractor for the CH-53K. The anticipated work is for SAC to provide a software tool set to analyze data across the entire fleet in order to enhance the H-53K's mission performance and to reduce O&M support cost to the H-53K Helicopter Program. SAC is the only known source with the knowledge, experience, expertise, and proprietary technical data required to successfully perform these tasks. This synopsis is for informational purposes only.
