- Sources Sought: Facility upgrade for YPG Data Center. Solicitation Number: W9124R-11-DATAUPG Response Due Date: 12 January 2011 at 0800 MST The Mission and Installation Contracting Command (MICC) Center- Yuma is seeking to identify contractors interesting in providing a solution to house, power, cool and monitor critical systems independently from other systems in the Data Center. The Data Center's power and cooling is a shared resource among disparate systems. This is not a Request for Proposal (RFP), nor is it to be construed as a commitment by the government to issue a solicitation or ultimately award a contract. Responses to the query will not be considered as proposals, nor will any award be made as a result of this query. The MICC Center-Yuma will NOT be responsible for any costs incurred by interested parties in responding to this query. This FedBizOps notice is an announcement seeking market information on businesses capable of providing the Facility Upgrade as described in the attached draft specifications. MICC Center-Yuma is currently conducting market research to determine qualified, experienced, and interested potential sources capable of providing a system that can fit within a 37'x19' room and a system that can fit within a 25'x 19' room. The information requested herein will be used within the Army to facilitate decision making and will not be disclosed outside of the agency. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 334512, Automatic Environmental Control Manufacturing for Residential, Commercial, and Appliance Use. If your firm has an interest in responding to a future solicitation that might result, please provide a Capability Statement to Mission & Installation Contracting Command (MICC) Center-Yuma, 301 C Street, Bldg 2364 RM. 101, Yuma, AZ 85365-9498 or fax to (923) 328-6849. The Capability Statement should include general information and technical background describing your firm's experiences in contracts requiring similar items. The Capability Statement should include the following information: 1.Company name, address, point of contact (POC), telephone number, fax number, e-mail address, NAICS code, DUNs number, and cage code. 2.Any GSA schedules held. 3.Company size (small, large business); if small, indicate socio-economic status (e.g., 8(a), small disadvantaged business, HUB Zone, minority-owned, woman-owned, veteran-owned, etc.). 4.Please identify if your organization is capable of providing the supply described within the specifications. 5.Please provide references for the Facility Upgrade supplied by your firm which is currently in use: a.Contract identification number(s) b.Title and a brief summary of the scope of the effort c.Contracting agency or firm (Government or commercial) d.Approximate value of the contract(s) e.Type of contract(s), e.g., fixed price, cost reimbursement, labor hour 6.Please identify if your organization manufactures the equipment being supplied. 7.Please identify what manufacturing and quality control standards your organization meets. 8.What North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code would you recommend for the contemplated supplies described within the Draft Specifications? 9.Please identify if subcontracting opportunities exist for the supplies covered by the SOW. 10.Please identify if the items required are customarily performed in the commercial marketplace or if these supplies or services are performed exclusively for governmental purposes. Interested parties shall not submit more than 10 single sided, type-written pages using 12-point type or larger. Published literature may be any number of pages.
