- This is a Sources Sought posting for market research purposes only. This is not a request for Quote. The Air Force Flight Test Center at Edwards AFB, CA is seeking vendors capable of providing the following: LINE 1: (5Qty) 30.5 Ground Power Units, Ground Power Units must meet all of the following requirements: Input power requirements: 208-240 VAC, 3 phase, 50/60 Hz, 50 Amps max or 200/115 VAC, 3 phase, 400 Hz, 50 Amps max - Output power requirements (simultaneous): 208/120 VAC, 3 phase, 400 Hz power output rated at 30 Amps continuous, 50 Amp Max 120 VAC, 60 Hz, power output rated at 8.33 Amp continuous, 16 Amp surge 30.5 VDC power output @ 400 amps continuous - High rate discharge/rechargeable/maintenance free dry cell battery backup - Able to operate in temperatures up 140 degrees Fahrenheit - Meets or exceeds MIL-STD-801F for vibration endurance Continuous power LINE 2: (5Qty) digital Volt Amp Meters LINE 3: (5Qty) Shipping Case, 400HZ GPU-24 GHMD and 400HZ GPU-24 UAV AC/DC LINE 4: (5Qty) Protective Cover, 400HZ GPU-24 GHMD and 400HZ GPU-24 UAV AC/DC LINE 5: (5Qty) extended Warranty (3 years total) LINE 5: Shipping cost Place of delivery and acceptance is Edwards AFB, CA 93524. Please note that this synopsis is for planning purposes only, does not constitute a solicitation for competitive bids/proposals, and is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government. However, all interested parties who believe they can meet the requirements are invited to submit in writing complete information describing their ability to provide the items listed above. FOB Destination; Edwards AFB, CA 93524. Firms responding to this synopsis must identify their company's capabilities to perform the requirements described herein, reference the synopsis number (F1S0AR0295B001), and indicate whether or not that they are a small or small disadvantaged business concern as defined in FAR 52.219-1. The NAICS code is 335311. The Small Business size standard is 750 employees. The information received because of this notice will be considered solely for determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the Air Force not to open the requirement to open competition, based on response to this sources sought synopsis, is solely within the discretion of the Air Force. The Government does not intend to pay for any information provided under this sources sought synopsis. It is anticipated that a Firm Fixed Price contract will be awarded in January 2011.
