- Description
- The Naval Inventory Control Point, Mechanicsburg, PA, intends to issue a solicitation on an unrestricted basis for program management, engineering, and technical services in support of the Department of Navy Automatic Identification Technology (AIT) Program Office located primarily in Mechanicsburg, PA. The specific areas of support required are: program office support and project management; enterprise architecture support; user information sharing; standards requirements determination and analysis; AIS integration and documentation; 1D and 2D Bar Code focused implementation support; RFID focused implementation support; UID research and development; and, business case analysis support. The solicitation includes a base period of one year with four one-year option periods. An indefinite delivery indefinite quantity type contract with firm fixed price and cost-plus-fixed-fee ordering provisions is anticipated. This is not a commercial item and the Government does not intend to use FAR Part 12 for the acquisition.
