Description
The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) intends to issue a modification for additional work under EP10H001246, with BNF Technologies, of Arlington, VA, under the authority of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures, and FAR 13.106-1 (b)(1).The purpose of this modification is for contractor assistance to begin the second phase of upgrading the records management practices within the Office of Policy (OP). The contractor assistance is required to move the office further in attaining full compliance with records management policy as well as ensuring that records and supporting documentation are accessible to analysts more broadly within the office. Specifically, EPA needs additional assistance in purging old files, establish physical files and identify disposition/retention schedules for individual records, physical files according to the records schedules; scan documents, and prepare documents for archives. OP seeks to convert a number of records and non-record supporting documents reflecting its history as the EPA's National Center for Environmental Innovation into a digital library/ archive. For this purpose, OP will require the contractor to scan and catalogue the report holdings for two individuals as a pilot project for the creation of this digital archive/ library. This additional work is integrally related to work under this purchase order and cannot be separated from ongoing work. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 541611. No solicitation or request for quote (RFQ) is available. Notwithstanding, any firm, which believes it is capable of meeting EPA's requirement as stated herein may submit a response, which if received within seven (7) days of the date of this announcement will be considered. Responses must be in writing. All questions and responses should be directed to Bradley Austin, Contracting Officer at austin.bradley@epa.gov.
